Inspiration Went Downstream

Sometimes a single picture can say so much more than a long post.  

Here we have the Fall river, making a lovely meander through otherwise rugged territory in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park.  This view looks down 2,000 feet into the valley, and one can also see the Great Plains, 30 miles away, in between the peaks to the east.
